He says that many sprayers waste a tremendous amount of product just to get the sprayer ready to operate.
Precision Planting is introducing a boom recirculation system that can prime the booms without any product being sprayed. That system is called ReClaim and will be available later this fall.
Another product that will be available soon is called Symphony. It is a nozzle control system that allows the sprayer to maintain constant pressure even when changing operating rates or speed.
Baker says these technologies are coming to the marketplace as retrofits.
Bryce Baker says that while you do need to invest initially on new technology for your equipment, it can pay off quickly.
