Improving corn yields through trait technologies with Dekalb

by | Sep 6, 2022 | 5 Ag Stories, News

As we inch closer to harvest we are reminded of the innovations and improvements made in farming year after year to see yields continue to climb.

Dekalb is a company that is not afraid to try and make improvements each growing season with its line of corn products.

The Iowa Agribusiness Radio Network recently spoke with Jamie Horton, Dekalb brand manager, at the 2022 Farm Progress show in Boone about some of the trait technologies currently on the market and what’s next.

Horton says the Dekalb Smart Corn System can have a lot of advantages for farmers.

She says Dekalb’s improvements to its corn products are producing better results each year.

Continuing to look to the future Horton tells the IARN about corn traits that will simultaneously protect from insects above ground and corn rootworm below ground.
