It has been a topsy-turvy few months in agriculture. Quite frankly, it has been a tough couple of years. Iowa Farm Bureau Association?s (IFBF) David Miller commented on the year and how we can make the most of a difficult situation.
The markets of 2018 really took a hit, especially in soybeans. However, Miller says there were opportunities if you had a market plan in place.
Miller says Farm Bureau offers opportunities for farmers to learn more about marketing options, or even just to hone their skills further.
Miller says there other options out there for specialty, or premium, crops. It is worth a farmer?s time to investigate those options, and maybe diversify their crops.
