While Iowa is proud of its agricultural producers, we sometimes receive the unwanted stigma of being nothing but hogs and corn. The Iowa Department of Agriculture and Land Stewardship (IDALS) is helping promote some of our state?s specialty crops.

Iowa Agriculture Secretary Mike Naig tells us about an opportunity to receive grants to promote specialty crops in Iowa, such as fruits and vegetables.

Secretary Naig talks about the parameters to have your project qualify.

The deadline for submission is coming up on March 1st. Secretary Naig says the best place to find more information is on the IDALS website.
