Waterways in Iowa are impacted by water runoff from many human activities and Zach Leiser, agronomy technology service manager at Growmark, says that runoff comes in several forms.
There are many ways that farmers can help to lessen agricultural runoff and make improvements to their land to allow for more absorption of excess water.
Leiser says that Growmark is always trying to educate farmers on how they can make improvements to their operation that are a win/win scenario for everyone.
