A meeting between ethanol advocates and oil industry champions has produced results.

The two sides are still at odds, but E-15 is now allowed year-round, which will make it more attractive for fuel station operators to install pumps. The sticking point is now on ethanol exports.

The Trump Administration is reportedly saying ethanol exports will count as part of the commitment of refiners to the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) to keep the Renewable Fuel Standard (RFS) in balance.

Growth Energy says the Trump Administration delivering on its promise for year-round E-15 sales is a win for agriculture. Further, those attending Tuesday?s meeting say the idea of capping RIN prices is dead.
