Leaders at the National Pork Board recently accompanied members of the US Meat Export Federation (USMEF) on a trip to Singapore, Vietnam, Hong Kong, and Macau. One producer talks about the importance of these trips and expanding our markets.

Randy Spronk is a Minnesota producer who also chairs USMEF?s Pork and Allied Industries Committee. He says pork production keeps growing.

Spronk says the focus of the pork board is to really hone in on expanding the markets correctly. Moving the right products to the consumers who will buy the most of them.

Spronk commented on the growth in markets such as Singapore and Vietnam.
