The United States Senate Tuesday voted against further discussion on the ?Green New Deal.?
The bill, authored by Representative Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (D-NY 14th District), failed to receive support, even from members of her own party. Two Democratic members joined their Republican counterparts in voting ?NO,? while remaining Democrats voted ?PRESENT.?
