Iowa Senator Chuck Grassley wants to ask Commerce Secretary Wilbur Ross if our trade dispute with China can be resolved before tariffs are put in place.
Grassley says Americans understand there is a trade issue, but it is American businesses and workers that will be hurt.
Grassley says China cannot win a back and forth tariff war, because they have more to lose.
