It is amazing how quickly things can change in one week. Last week, Senator Grassley didn?t have a firm timetable for the progress on a Senate version of the Farm Bill. On Tuesday he announced that it was being marked up Wednesday Morning.
Senator Chuck Grassley said that the Farm Bill is our single most-important piece of legislation.
Grassley reiterated his thoughts on who the farm bill is intended to help.
Grassley said that he has once again introduced an amendment to cap subsidy payments in the Farm Bill.
When Asked what kind of chance he thought his amendment had, Grassley responded it is not up to him.
