We have explored many areas of going cage-free in egg production this week. Last, and certainly not least, we talk about the eggs themselves. Iowa Poultry Association President JT Dean says there are safeguards in place to protect the eggs and going cage-free will present a whole new set of challenges to food safety of the eggs.
Bob Riley Chairman of the Riley Resource Group says the ultimate goal is providing a choice of eggs to consumers of all financial levels.
