Barry Flinchbaugh spent his professional career as an agricultural economist at Kansas State University. He has participated in eleven pieces of farm legislation. Since they only come up every five years, that is a long tenure from an increasingly influential position.
Flinchbaugh is still going strong and has a sharp memory, as well as a quick wit. He describes the policies of the last century and the realities of the current in a moment.
