Canada and Mexico are negotiating the new North American Free Trade Agreement (NAFTA). Much is still uncertain, but it appears the United States will stay in negotiations and attempt to get an agreement, eventually.

Darci Vetter was chief agricultural negotiator during the Obama Administration and now consults with several U.S. trade organizations. Vetter says she noticed a different tone during recent negotiations in Montreal, Canada and President Trump?s State of the Union (SOTU) Speech.
