Farmers Business Network promises to help farmers save money

There have been buying groups in agriculture for many years. A cooperative may be called such. The goal has been to provide growers cheaper prices by having them join a group where lower prices can be negotiated.

A new organization has emerged, called the Farmers Business Network (FBN). FBN has a $600 annual membership fee. What does that get you? Ken Root asked Charles Barron, co-founder and vice president of products for FBN, to explain what they are and what benefits growers can gain from membership.
