As we head into the fall season, regions that have wheat pasture are looking very good.
Rains in record amounts have fallen in the normally dry plains of Oklahoma, Texas and Kansas. The result is demand for stocker cattle to get some economical graze out before they head to feedlots. However, each sector of the industry is different and profit potential will likewise be adjusted according to the differences in each operations management.
