Growth Energy kicked off their 10th Annual Leadership Conference on Wednesday, in sunny California. CEO Emily Skor reemphasized the need for advancing ethanol.
Skor says the ethanol industry surfed some stormy seas last year. A year ago we were looking at a move to gut the Renewable Fuels Standard (RFS). Now, the tables are turned, and the industry is poised to see year-round E15 become a reality.
Skor says the industry is making great strides in places like California, and the state?s low-carbon fuel standards. Skor also looks to the work to be done on the RFS ?reset? by EPA.
Skor reminds us there is also room for growth on ethanol exports.
The conference runs through Saturday.
