You almost can?t look anywhere without seeing a combine cutting beans or shelling corn the past few days. Nick Keen works for Stoner Farms near Mount Vernon. On my way to World Dairy Expo, I took a break from driving Tuesday afternoon and hopped in the combine. Keen says they had a lot of sudden death syndrome in soybeans this year but still think his yields will do pretty well.
