It?s not every day you see fuel prices that start with a one, but tomorrow you will. Kum & Go is offering E15 for just $1.15 per gallon tomorrow September 16th from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM at 21 stores different stores in the Des Moines area.
E15 is a fuel blend containing 15% ethanol and 85% gasoline. E15 is often sold at a 5 to 10-cents less per gallon to E10. It is approved by the Environmental Protection Agency for use in all 2001 and newer vehicles.
Iowa Renewable Fuels Association (IRFA) Managing Director Lucy Norton stated, ?E15 is already the lowest-cost fuel for the vast majority of drivers, and Kum & Go?s promotion offering it for $1.15 per gallon means even more savings for Iowans on this safe and more environmentally-friendly fuel blend.?
