Farmer’s Markets are part of many communities. They may just be a few vendors in a church parking lot, or they may span several city blocks. They are a place for local Iowa producers to market their goods to a populace who wants to know where their food comes from.
The Des Moines Downtown Farmer’s Market opened for the 2018 Season on Saturday. Director Kelly Foss tells us about the event.
Foss says that goods are coming from every corner of Iowa.
The event is a weekly affair for the whole family.
This broadcaster will tell you to get there early for the best selection of Iowa goods available.
