Data shows March was strong for pork exports

The recently released data from March?s pork exports is showing the best numbers so far for this year. In fact, it was just short of the record in March of 2021. This has been achieved with higher costs of pork products. This is no small hurdle to overcome, that is what makes these numbers so sweet.

Clay Eastwood is the Director of International Market Development with the National Pork Board. He talks about what the data shows from the March exports.

Eastwood explains that it is because of the partnership with the U.S. Meat Export Federation that we have been able to see such success. Eastwood adds that pork producers should be happy about this partnership.

Eastwood commends the USMEF for their boots on the ground efforts to promote our quality meat products to our customers abroad.
