A $1 scoop of frozen custard at Culver?s recently went a long way in supporting local agricultural education at various Culver?s restaurants. Culver?s recent ?Scoops of Thanks Day? at 650 restaurants around the country involved customers making a $1 donation for a single scoop of frozen custard. The project raised more than $111,000 dollars for local ag education during the one-day event on May third.

The fundraiser is a part of the Culver?s ?Thank You Farmers? project, which got started in 2013. Up to the May third event, Culver?s had raised more than $1.7 million dollars over that time to support the National FFA Organization, local FFA chapters, as well as various agricultural organizations.

A Culver?s press release says, ?These young agricultural leaders are our future, and we are so thankful that our guests understand how important it is to support them and their education. A $1 donation may seem small, but when all that generosity adds up, we are able to make a positive difference for so many people across the country.?
