Colfax Sheep Auction: May 16, 2015

COLFAX, Iowa – The weekly market in Colfax saw a heavy run of sheep this past Saturday, with no sale next weekend due to the Memorial Day holiday.
955 head of sheep sold, with feeder lambs fetching the day?s high average price of $2.12 per pound. Fed lambs averaged $1.67 per pound, while prices on the 46 head of goats ranged from $105-$205 per head.
