Harvest happiness seems to be the tone across much of Iowa. A Clay County farmer says the August rains helped his yields. Chuck White is Iowa Soybean Association District 1 Director and farms corn and soybeans with his brother Kevin White in Clay County. They recently wrapped up harvest two weeks ago.

White added they had fairly dry corn coming out at 16 to 16 ½ % moisture. He said they didn’t have many problems with stand ability like some other farmers.
