The biggest single factor, which impacts grain prices is the ongoing trade war with China.

Tariffs have cut volume. Endless negotiations without results have reduced farmer’s optimism and support of the goals of the Trump Administration, no matter how admirable they may be. 

An economist talks about his view of the next two years and the most likely outcomes for the United States, China and other trading nations.
