The Chinese say they will commit to buy more U.S. Soybeans while President Donald Trump visits in Beijing.

Buyers plan to sign a letter of intent with the U.S. Soybean Export Council to buy a certain volume of soybeans, according to Reuters. In July, Chinese buyers said would buy 12.53 million tonnes of U.S. soybeans which would be the second largest agreement. No one would say the volume they would purchase.

A signing ceremony is scheduled to take place as Trump meets Chinese President Xi Jinping. President Trump also plans to meet with Ambassador Terry Branstad while touring the Asian nation.
