The Trump Administration was the first to reintroduce United States beef into China since the infamous bovine spongiform encephalopathy (BSE) scare, or ?Cow That Stole Christmas? in 2003. Trade negotiators managed to get the job done in mid-2017.

China has yet to buy a lot of beef. The amount purchased may seem anticlimactic for a highly anticipated end to a trade ban lasting more than a decade. Dr. Peel spoke last week with Ron Hays of the Radio Oklahoma Ag Network.
