Sourcing parts for new ag equipment has been a big challenge in the last year. Supply chain disruptions, labor shortages, and raw material shortages have made it difficult to consistently produce new farm machinery.

Daryl Theis, head of sales & marketing at CLAAS ? North America, says that he is starting to feel hopeful about a smooth production process for new equipment.

Theis says that making plans with foresight early on helped CLAAS to navigate some stormy waters.

Daryl Theis says that while used equipment has been more popular than ever with shortages for new equipment, producers need to be thinking about purchasing new again.
