It?s time to get up to speed on the latest Case IH Early Riser planter series. Dave Brennan, planter marketing specialist with Case IH, said they?re ready to offer some new options for farmers.

?We’re super excited here at Case IH to continue to add to that 2000-series lineup of Early Riser planters, and that’s going to be the 2110 Early Riser that’s going to give those growers with smaller fields that access to fully factory-equipped, high-spec rigid-mounted planter for their operation,? Brennan said. ?At a high level, the 2110 offers the same high-speed efficiency and unmatched durability as the other 2000 series models, with lower machine weight and reduced hydraulic demands for the smaller tractors that those operators are using. In addition to that, we’re rolling out updates to our popular 2150 Early Riser planter with a focus on enhanced productivity that includes increased fertilizer capacity and new split bulk-fill scale capability.?

Brennan explained the new options available to growers with the 2110 Early Riser planter, as well as how those options can help solve challenges in the field.

?That 2110 is a pretty unique configuration or a unique planter for us,? Brennan said. ?It gives us the ability to configure row spacing from 30-inch all the way up to 40-inch row spacing in both six- and eight-row configurations. So those growers that are embedded conditions that may run a row spacing from 36,38, or even 40-inch can adjust that row spacing if need be. The 2110 is also going to offer some high-tech features like automated vacuum control that are going to enhance efficiency, and of course, seed placement accuracy. In addition to that, enhancing productivity with two choices of on-row hoppers, so we’ve got the 1.9-bushel on-row hopper as well as the optional three-bushel on-row hopper.?

Brennan also talked about the new updates included in the 2110 and 2150 Early Riser planters.

?That 2110 all-new configuration for us is going to feature that robust frame design, that seven-by-seven bar, so that those row units that have that high-tech downforce capability have a solid foundation to push off of and achieve that consistent seed depth,? Brennan said. ?That’s also going to feature that hydraulic-driven air compressor. And on the 2150 model, we’re focusing on improvements that zero in on enhancing growers? productivity and spending more time in the seat putting the crop in the ground. That’s going to include increasing liquid fertilizer capacity from 400 gallons all the way up to 540 gallons now on those model year 24 planters. All 12 and 16 rows as well as the 24 rows will have that 540-gallon capacity.?

Brennan added that the 2110 Early Riser planter is suited for all kinds of operations.

?This planter is going to be ideal for all kinds of operations but particularly useful for growers in more regional farming practices, so growers in more bedded crops like cotton and peanuts as well as flood-irrigated fields,? Brennan said. ?The number of configuration options combined with the industry-leading durability and the low horsepower requirements make it a perfect fit for both standard operations and custom-planting jobs as well.?
