California egg law may not be last word

John Block is hopping mad about California’s disruption of the egg industry.

Iowa produces more chicken eggs than any other state, so it’s important. We can’t eat all of our eggs, so we have to ship them to population centers. California has a lot of them.

You may remember when egg prices reached extremely high prices and then plummeted to 39 cents a dozen at a gas station. The fluctuation in prices was brought on by California.
