It seems like all of us today want more time. A farm management software company wants to help farmers gain more time by making managing the books a little easier.
Andy Pringnitz works for Granular, a farm management software company. He says Granular wants to help farmers get into a more professional software than Microsoft Excel.
?We do that by providing cloud-based software that integrates a lot of different pieces of the business. A lot of farms today are run in Microsoft Excel so we can get farmers out of Excel and into Granular to run their farm,? Pringnitz says.
Pringnitz says Granular has talked to a lot of farmers over the last few years to get their opinion.
?Farms spend a ton of time in Excel today and what happens is they spend so much time updating spreadsheets and keeping data up-to-date that they don?t end up analyzing it and making decisions with that information,? Pringnitz says.
Pringnitz says Granular lets farmers use real-time data.
