As summer starts, is there a chance to get a farm bill passed in this session of Congress? The Senate has a bill out of committee and ready for a floor vote, but a cattle industry lobbyist says they do not know a lot of what is in the bill and the Foot-and-Mouth Disease (FMD) vaccine bank has no funding.
The process to get approval on a final Farm Bill for 2018 continues to progress, still with a lot unknowns regarding what exactly is in the Senate?s version of the bill, recently passed out of committee.
