Last fall the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) recertified the use of dicamba products for a five-year period. They also tightened up a few of the regulations that were varying from state to state and introduced a nationwide cutoff date for applications. These are just a few of the changes that have been implemented. One thing that hasn?t changed is that anybody that will be working with the chemical needs to go through a training course to get certified to handle dicamba. Bayer is offering training options for Iowa producers through the end of March.
