Bayer launches Delaro Complete fungicide

Bayer continues expanding its Delaro brands.

Delaro was launched in 2018 and the brand continues to see growth, according to Bayer fungicide product manager Ray Lello. In September of this year, Bayer received EPA approval for Delaro Complete, which is the next generation fungicide for market year 2021.

?We have added a third mode of action,? Lello said about the product. ?That third mode of action gives us a unique and differentiated opportunity to have incremental disease activity. For our Iowa growers, we think of gray leaf spot. That is specifically strong for that third mode of action. We also think about white mold in soybeans where we have in northern Iowa.?

?Delaro Complete also adds better resistance management and improved plant health,? Lello continued, ?What that plant health effect does is increase sustainability in corn. It also helps to close the canopy, if you will, in soybeans.?

Lello says Delaro Complete builds on the backbone that Bayer has with Delaro to help growers gain yield boosts. Delaro Complete?s unique chemistry combination boosts photosynthesis and increases grain fill for consistently higher yield potential and resistance management.

?We have been trialing Delaro Complete since 2015,? Lello said. ?When we look at that brand and what it brings to the table is about 3 bushels better than Delaro in soybeans and about 4 bushels better in corn. That?s largely from bringing the bottom end of that yield curb up.?

?It?s consistency that Delaro Complete delivers by maybe pushing the corn and soybean crop through a missed rain, or maybe not a perfect environmental scenario. That consistency that Delaro Complete delivers through that disease activity, resistance management, and improved plant health is really what makes it a little bit different than what is on market today.?

Delaro Complete is included in the Bayer Plus Rewards program.
