BASF scores major products in Bayer merger

With mergers and acquisitions in the life sciences, seed and crop protection products, the number of companies has been reduced.

Some of the products you may use now have new owners. There are some popular fungicides and seed treatments, as well as linked traits and chemicals that have new owners.

A visit with a top executive of BASF, the new owner of some chemistry and other products due to the divestitures required for Bayer to purchase Monsanto.

Scott Kay is vice president of BASF. He spoke to me, at the 2018 Farm Progress Show last week, about the changes in the seed and Ag chemical industry. He also talks about how his company could benefit.
