Farmers are constantly on the lookout for ways to stay ahead of weeds. They want things to be adapted to handle the weeds which are the toughest today, but they also want their tools to be high yielding and high value. They want this control to be as uncomplicated as possible. BASF says their Liberty Link GT27 line of hybrids deliver on these needs.

Darren Unland is a Technical Marketing Manager for BASF. He talks about what makes the Liberty Link GT27 soybeans so special. It is the tolerance the beans have to three different herbicide options.

Unland says resistance from tough weeds like waterhemp and palmer amaranth is the reason farmers needs different options rolled into one package.

Unland says farmers need to have a good plan going into 2020. 2019 left us with many weed control challenges. These challenges will set the stage for some epic battles in the next growing season.
