BASF fungicides offer disease protection & plant health options for 2022

Disease pressure is something that once again showed up in 2021. It shows up in every year. Tar Spot was talked about a lot in Iowa?s cornfields as the disease keeps increasing the affected territory. What is interesting is that in recent years we have seen the fungicide products used to treat diseases, also increase plant health along the way. BASF has been at the forefront of some of those discoveries and is poised to give us more products and data for 2022.

Kelly Liberator is a Technical Marketing Manager for Plant Health & Fungicides with BASF. She talks about the ?Plant Health? side of the fungicide equation, and what they mean when they discuss this topic. She discusses how this goes beyond just disease prevention and treatment.

Kelly talks about the latest innovations that BASF has on the marketplace; Veltyma? for corn and Revytek? for soybeans. Veltyma? has allowed producers to have an expanded window for treating diseases in corn, and Revytek? offers you three modes of action for disease and plant health needs.

Liberator adds that getting a fungicide plan in place already for 2022 is critical. She also talks about the data options which are available through their REVX Fields online tool.
