AUDIO REPORT: Robbie Upton of BASF – Supply Chain Disruptions

Supply chain disruptions were a key issue in agriculture in 2021 and will continue to be a big focus this year.

The team at BASF discussed these global challenges during the 2021 NAFB Convention in Kansas City. Robbie Upton, director of marketing for BASF?s crop protection business in the U.S., says farmers shouldn?t be concerned about crop protection supply challenges in 2022, but that they should have a plan in place.

Company officials say BASF?s supply chain is becoming more effective and efficient thanks to digital technologies. They achieve this by creating an integrated supply chain with their customers, suppliers and partners. BASF exchanges data, thereby increasing the transparency of the entire supply chain.
