As part of a two-day trans-Iowa tour organized by the Iowa Corn Growers’ Association, a handful of food bloggers from around the country got a chance to experience Iowa agriculture firsthand. Janelle Maiocco is from Washington state and blogs at talkoftomatoes.com. She was excited to get a chance to see the first step for foodstuffs that make their way to her kitchen. Here she talks about her philosophy on blogging and why she was excited to be in Iowa.
