It is a well known battle, farmers vs. weeds. But how does a farmer gain the upper hand?

Eric Scherder, U.S. crop protection launch leader with Corteva, says that when putting together your weed control plan you should be building that plan around an entire weed control system, not just one particular mode of action.

Scherder says the “systems approach” also helps to guard against herbicide resistance and keeps a valuable tool in a farmer’s toolbox.

The late start to planting in 2022 put some Iowa farmers in an uncomfortable spot to begin the growing season.

He says that growers are fans of Enlist E3™soybeans because of their flexibility and the options that provides farmers.
