The biggest animal disease outbreak in decades is playing out in the world?s most populous nations who depend on pork as a staple of their daily diets.

The disease: African Swine Fever (ASF) is still spreading. It is now reported in North Korea, Vietnam and the Philippines, following decimation of the Chinese herd.
