At the end of this week, delegates from across the country will be converging on New Orleans for the annual convention of the American Farm Bureau Federation. The organization is marking a huge milestone in the Big Easy.

When we take a look at farming over the past 100 years, a lot of changes have been made. What is fascinating is the fact that while the processes have changed, the desired outcome is still the same. Farmers want to produce the best products available to feed the world. As the American Farm Bureau celebrates their 100th anniversary, President Zippy Duvall comments on the core mission of the bureau has never wavered.

The Bureau plans to make 2019 a year-long celebration of its centennial. Duvall says it all kicks off in New Orleans.

Duvall says the future is even brighter in the next 100 years.

The American Farm Bureau Convention runs January 11th-17th.
