American Coalition for Ethanol wants EPA to get moving

It was last month when President Donald Trump announced he was directing the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) to remove the restrictions on the year-round sales of E15. The American Coalition for Ethanol (ACE) is wanting EPA to light a fire under it.

ACE?s Brian Jennings says E15 has been approved for several years, and most cars can safely use it. Jennings says we must get this done now.

After hearing EPA Acting Administrator Andrew Wheeler say EPA was close to having a plan in place all summer, Jennings says he is concerned with waiting until February to roll out a rule. He says it will take political pressure to keep the ball moving.

Jennings says while we wait, it is a matter of increasing the demand for U.S. ethanol abroad.
