This year?s Iowa State Fair Super Bull is Albert, a 3,042 lb black angus bull, from Audubon Iowa. Owner Randy Dreher says that he believed Albert always had a chance to become a very large bull but his genetics have allowed him to reach his super-size.

Albert is named after a famous bull from his hometown of Audubon.

Dreher says that he has enjoyed seeing large crowds this week at the fair lining up to see Albert.

Albert weighed the most out of four total bulls in the big bull competition at this year?s fair. The heaviest bull in contest history was 3,404 lbs in 2009?s Super Bull competition.
