Agriculture on guard for 2019

Tomorrow is 2019, no matter how bad your head may feel.

There have been several issues in agriculture that reached a successful conclusion this year: The farm bill, Waters of the U.S. (WOTUS) and U.S.-Mexico-Canada Agreement (USMCA).

There is no guarantee any of these intentions will come to pass without difficulty in our rough and rocky political system.

We also have fears that African Swine Fever (ASF) will get into North America and decimate swine herds.

American Farm Bureau Federation (AFBF) president Zippy Duvall said agriculture saw a number of victories through 2018. Duvall defines the major wins from Farm Bureau?s perspective.
