Agriculture and COVID-19: The ups and the downs

Today Dustin talks about the effects the COVID-19 outbreak is having on agriculture. There have been negatives, but we have also seen a few positives.

Ethanol plants have been affected again. There are multiple factors or this. It is leading to a chain reaction to others down the line. The dairy industry is looking for some additional help from USDA in the wake of the COVID outbreak, but there is no word on whether that will happen.

Parts of the landmark $2.2 trillion-dollar Coronavirus Aid, Relief, and Economic Security (CARES) Act provides funding for Commodity Credit Corporation (CCC) and provides relief for livestock producers, direct-market farms, and more.

Farmers have a knack for being able to weather the storm and keep pushing forward. They have proven this over and over again.
