An Emmetsburg, Iowa-based company that specializes in customized solutions related to the planning, design, construction, and outfitting of livestock production facilities has announced a new partnership.
Ag Property Solutions, LLC has invested in a majority interest of Evans, Colorado-based Dairy Specialists, LLC, which is one of the largest and most innovative commercial dairy service and equipment dealerships in the country. Brian Stork is the Chief Operating Officer for Ag Property Solutions and will be assuming the same role for Dairy Specialists. He tells the Iowa Agribusiness Radio Network that this new partnership is a win-win for their customers.
?We?ve got design teams on both sides with APS and with Dairy Specialists,? Stork said. ?It really does help us take those dreams and move them forward. Integrators and farmers have a lot of intellectual capital and a lot of ideas they want to bring forward. The partnership between Dairy Specialists and APS allows that to happen.?
Stork says both companies will be under the umbrella of Standard Nutrition Company (SNC), which is the owner of APS and various other ag-related entities in the livestock feed and nutrition industry.
?Dairy Specialists has been around for 50 years,? Stork said. ?They really are a service provider for the dairy industry out here. From all aspects of it they design parlors, we do new construction, remodels, and robotic milkers. I?ve been in a few barns that have 30-plus robotic milkers in them. It?s just a neat opportunity right now. We help them with their waste management.?
Dairy Specialists will continue to operate and service customers under the same name. Details regarding the purchase price were not disclosed.
