The Advancing Women Conference, a virtual event this November, is offering all women in agriculture a chance to network and learn new ideas. Iris Meck, Glacier FarmMedia director of conferences, said the Advancing Women Conference was created for every woman who is passionate about agriculture and food.

?The Advancing Women Conference is a leadership conference for women in agriculture,? Meck said. ?So, our main focus is helping women build confidence in all of their leadership skills so that they can progress to really live the life that they want to live.?

Meck said women from around the world can attend this Canada-based event.

?For Advancing Women Conference virtual 2021, women can attend from anywhere in the world,? Meck said. ?It’s a great opportunity being that there’s no travel, no hotel accommodations. Everyone is welcome to register and attend.?

The conference started in 2014 and offers a variety of content.

?What you can expect from the conference is hearing a great lineup of speakers, businesswomen, women that run operations and are entrepreneurs in the industry, to specialists in topics like leadership skills, mental and physical health, financial management,? Meck said. ?It’s also a great way to interact with a broad range of women in the ag sector, whether you’re a university and college student, farmer, rancher, entrepreneur in ag and food, or corporate agribusiness, it’s a great way to meet women all across the sector.?

The conference will be held November 22 and 23rd of this year. All women in agriculture can go to advancingwomenconference.ca and get all the information about the speakers, the sponsors and all the other information they need to attend. Registration for the conference is available now.
