KISS 98.7 Kiss Country was established back in 2007 when North Iowa Broadcasting purchased the stations from the sale from Clear Channel Radio.
Before flipping formats in 2007, 98.7 Kiss Country was a KISS FM Format playing Top 40 and was flipped to Country when J. Brooks came back to the market.
KISS plays the Best Country, and also serve the farmers of the area with Market updates and J. Brooks gores into the field with farmers and does a video segment he came up with called the Cab Cam, doing videos of farmers from the cab during Harvest season and now during the planting season so people can see what it is like riding or driving the high tech AG equipment of today.
KISS serves the community with lots of local interviews and interaction with listeners. They do many things for their surrounding areas
J. Brooks Walk A Block is in its 4th year. J. is in the black coat with kids and family around him that participated in the walk.

J. Brooks has been doing the Morning Show since the station became the country station for North Iowa and Southern Minnesota 10 years ago. J. Brooks grew up in the area and was on another country station in the market. He has been waking listeners up for 18 years in the market. He also does volunteer work, and helps out with different charity work and visits fairs and small town celebrations.
