NCBA AUDIO: Matt Makens, 2022 Weather Outlook
Nationally recognized weather forecaster Matt Makens of Makens Weather LLC met with farm broadcasters at this year?s NCBA Convention in Houston, Texas to discuss upcoming weather trends both in the U.S. and around the world. In an interview with the Iowa Agribusiness Radio Network, Makens talked about winter weather outlooks for Iowa as the 2022 planting season approaches.
Makens says drought concerns still linger west of Iowa as those areas battled dryness throughout the entire 2021 growing season.
Internationally, Makens takes a look at weather trends in South America.
