2018 harvest weather outlook a mixed bag in Midwest

The 2018 harvest is underway. It is the finish line of an extremely tough race we ran this year. Will Mother Nature be cooperative?

DTN Meteorologist Bryce Anderson says the northwestern corn belt will be seeing some heavy rains as early as this week.

Anderson says the southern and eastern corn belt will miss leftover rain from Hurricane Florence and will stay dry.

Anderson says the late growing season rains we received were beneficial for soybeans, not so much for corn.
